New strategic partnership with HIVE Robots
Some of the most interesting developments in our industry happen when we get the opportunity to move closer to a client’s business than the individual recruitment assignment. That is why I am very pleased that Think About People has entered into a strategic partnership with HIVE Robots.
HIVE has ambitious plans for growth, and building the right organisation – with the right people across different functions and levels – will be an important part of that journey. Our role will be to support HIVE as they build their organisation and recruit the people they need as the company develops. The partnership is also particularly interesting to us for another reason. It gives us the opportunity to develop a new and more flexible way of working with search at Think About People.
We increasingly meet companies that have important positions to fill and need access to
candidates they would not necessarily reach themselves – but where a full Executive Search process is not always the right solution. In those situations, we can focus our expertise on understanding the role and the market, identifying and approaching the right candidates and delivering a qualified shortlist – while the client takes a greater role in the subsequent interview and selection process. The model is not tied to a particular function, industry or type of profile. It is about matching the recruitment process to what the company actually needs.
Our partnership with HIVE will help us develop and refine this approach further, with the ambition of eventually making it available to other clients as well. To me, that is a natural evolution of Think About People. Not every recruitment requires the same solution. Our job is to understand the business, the role and the organisation – and then build the process that makes the most sense.
